Message from the Workshop Chairmen

It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the Singapore-Japan Joint Workshop on Photovoltaics 2016, which will be held on Friday 28th October 2016 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, in conjunction and co-located with the PVSEC-26 conference. The workshop is jointly organised by the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) and the 175th Committee of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

The levelised cost of solar photovoltaic electricity is being reduced at a breathtaking pace, making solar power cost-effective in more and more countries, including Singapore and Japan. This workshop brings together leading PV researchers from Singapore and Japan to discuss the status and potential of existing and emerging PV technologies.
